My Story
Hi, I'm Mike Faulkenberry — a Nevada County native and dedicated Coldwell Banker Grass Roots Realty agent. My family's roots run deep here: my parents moved to Nevada County in the 1970s, and my father opened the area's first natural food store, a Nevada City landmark that helped spark a local movement toward sustainable living.
After high school, I served 15 years in the U.S. Air Force, separating as a Master Sergeant (E‑7). When my wife and I decided it was time to settle down and raise our kids, there was no place we wanted to be but home. My wife, a Northern California native raised in Auburn, and I love this area's mix of outdoor adventure, local festivals, and genuine community.
